In many ways, you can think of it as a free alternative to Dropbox. It will work across your LAN or across the world. Quite simply, BitTorrent Sync provides a way to sync files between your different devices, or selectively share files and folders with different people. Here is a quick look at the new tool and why it could be a great solution for editors, producers, and filmmakers who are looking to privately share large media files.
